KHUTBAH TERAKHIR NABI MUHAMMAD SAW
Khutbah Terakhir Nabi Muhammad SAW

What Students Taught Me About Being a Good Teacher
‘What Students Taught Me About Being a Good Teacher’
Awesome educator Ferial Pearson reveals her secret to classroom success. As told to Suzi Parker.September 10, 2013
"Everything I know about being a good teacher, I learned from my students."If students don’t feel safe, respected and celebrated in your classroom, they really aren’t going to learn much. You can know your material backwards and forwards, but it won’t matter. Everything I know about being a good teacher, I learned from my students.Once I was counseling a student from the Gay Straight Alliance Club. I said, “You are so bright. Why are you failing?” He said he was worried about being shoved down the stairs after class. Now, if you are sitting in a class worried about getting from algebra to English without being shoved down the stairs, if you are worried all the time about what is going to happen to you if someone finds out you’re gay, you can’t study or learn.I think that student saved me as a teacher. That became my number one priority: Students can be whoever they are, and they will be celebrated. They are allowed to bring their cultural capital into the classroom.
For instance, a lot of students have names from other countries, and teachers don’t even try to say their names. Your name is the first part of your identity, and so many students have stories about why they are named what they are. You’ve got to know your students’ names.Teachers will often say they can’t get parents to meetings. A lot of parents don’t feel comfortable in the school building. In some cultures, parents only come to the school if a student is in trouble. I ask, “Are you inviting them for a good reason?” I had a parent who was a poet. I invited her to help the students. She gave them some ideas, read some poems, and the students loved it.
I try to never put down a student’s language or culture. If my students speak African-American slang or are cussing, I talk about code switching. There is a time and place for different languages. I tell them that in this class, you are going to talk like you are onOprah. In the hallway you can talk like you talk at the club.
Instead of them just following rules I create, we sit together and make up a list of behaviors that will make us all feel safe and comfortable—and that includes me. We describe what each rule means and what it means in their cultures. I try not to implement my norms, but there are some non-negotiables, like no violence.I encourage humor with the rules, like make sure you keep your clothes on at all times. Don’t tear your hair out if you are frustrated. Because of these rules, I have never had a problem in the classroom. We have to be responsive to their culture, and technology is their culture. It seems everyone has a cell phone, so I try to use cell phones in the classroom. I use polleverywhere.com, a free web application that allows you to create a survey online, and students can text their answers online. It’s a good way to do a formative assessment. Sometimes we have a competition about who can define a word the fastest. I say, “Okay, go,” and they whip out their phone to see who can find the definition. The first one to get it wins a pack of gum or something.Straight Talk From the Stars of 'TEACH'If they abuse the technology, they lose it. (But I would never take a phone from a student. I saw a teacher beat up once over that.)
Teachers need support. At the College of Education at the University of Nebraska, they have created a brand-new initiative. There are four of us, and we are trying to figure out ways to get teachers in the classroom earlier, with more mentoring and support. I’m an “instructional coach.” A lot of teachers waste time in college, spending money and then realizing that teaching isn’t for them. Now we want them to answer the question before they get out: Is this something I love? Young teachers also really need to know they are not alone, and that schools serve students as a team. It’s easy for a young teacher to burn out and feel overwhelmed if they feel responsible for every aspect of a student’s well-being and academic growth, especially if they have students who are struggling.
The number one thing in teaching is relationships. You have to build relationships with basically everyone you come in contact with—students, other teachers, administrators, parents. If teachers communicate well and often with staff, faculty, parents, and members of the community, they can be culturally responsive and make use of the cultural capital students bring to the classroom. It makes things easier on the teachers, prevents classroom management issues, and empowers students.
Ferial Pearson specializes in urban education in Omaha, Nebraska, which has more Fortune 500 companies than any other U.S. city. But it is also a place with intense poverty and a high number of undocumented immigrants. This semester, Pearson is coaching wanna-be teachers at the College of Education at the University of Nebraska on how to be culturally responsive educators.

Experienced Teachers Teach Us: Lessons From 18 Years Working With At-Risk Kids

For 18 years Sandra Christenson taught at a continuation school in downtown Los Angeles adjacent to a Greyhound bus terminal. She knows first-hand the trials and tribulations facing at-risk students.“I would often get new kids every week, even if they were bright; who knew if I would see them next year?” Christenson says. Some students at Metropolitan Continuation High School had already seen the inside of jail, some were young parents and many were apathetic about education.Amid this tough environment, she made it her mission to teach English and reading classes in a way that compelled her students to want to learn.
But to accomplish this, she had learning of her own to do. “A student called ‘Monster’ had a heart-to-heart with me my first year teaching at Metro,” Christenson says. “He told me to be stricter. He taught me how to read gang signs and gang graffiti. I learned to learn from my students, and I became a better teacher. They wanted strictness with caring and I changed my style over the years, and it changed all our lives.”At Metropolitan, it was a challenge to help students just find the bravery to read. Most came from families where parents and siblings did not read books at home for pleasure.“My AP English class changed the way students looked at hard work,” she said. “One girl, who had endured sexual abuse, found a way to persevere through her life by using the five hours of reading a night and the Saturday classes as a model of toughness and preparedness. After taking the AP test, she reported her attacker who went to jail as a result.”
Christenson discovered that creating goals for students, inspired them to raise their test scores. She encouraged students and teachers to look at results from other schools and see where Metropolitan ranked. Suddenly, students wanted to get better.“They had never done homework, had never revised,” Christenson said. “I gave them hard deadlines, and students had to stay after school until they were met. We really would hold their feet to the fire. It was transformative for me and my students. Other teachers thought I was crazy, and I should be in another school. But more and more people got on board and the test scores got better.”
Christenson believes teachers must be allowed to bring what they love into the classroom. Her classes followed every election, especially the local ones, and learned about the many sides of the issues. Her students even worked the polls and registered fellow students to vote. Christenson's classes have also followed the stock market, 'buying' stocks, and keeping graphs on their progress.Christenson led opera and theater workshop classes, so her students could attend performances and films of both. She believes, “A teacher opens up the world to her students.”
Two years ago she left Metropolitan when her partner got a job in Sacramento. Christenson now substitute teaches there, and on any given day she could teach kindergarten or fifth graders in any part of the city at any socio-economic level.“I walk into the skins of other teachers now,” she says. “But it has furthered my education and my humility. I learn something everyday. Either I get something great from the teacher or learn something the teacher doesn’t do, but maybe should do. I’m still very dedicated to teaching. If I get a full-time job I’ll go back to it in a minute.”

Terbangun dr tidur utk buang air
Forwarded from frenz..
YB Dr Daroyah Alwi wrote:
Assalam..
Sy nak kongsi very good tips - bg yg terbangun dr tidur utk buang air...... baca ya!
Penting untuk diambil perhatian!!!
Tiga kali (1/2)
Para pakar selalu berpesan:
Setiap individu harus ambil perhatian tentang 3 x 1/2 minit.
Kenapa penting?
Sejurus kita berdiri, otak masih kekurangan aliran darah.
Knapa "3?1/2 minit" amat
penting?
1.Bila terbangun drpd tidur jgn trus turun dri katil, tetapi berbaringlah dulu untuk tempoh 1/2 minit;
2. Duduk di katil utk tempoh
1/2 minit;
Sharing is caring.

Tarikh: November 3, 2013. SINAR HARIAN
Dua minggu lagi cuti sekolah bermula.
A month without sugar
A Month Without Sugar
Posted: 04 Nov 2013 07:00 AM PST
By Leo Babauta
Life seems sweeter without sweets. Or at least, just as sweet.
If you’d suggested that I’d prefer a life that was pretty much devoid of sweet desserts a year ago, I would have laughed in scorn. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, mostly centered on chocolate but I also love pies and cookies and muffins and ice cream.
But as a part of my Year of Living Without, I gave up sugar in October. And in truth, it was fairly easy (with a few harder spots) because I’d mostly been going without sugar for the previous four months or so.
I found that life is just as fun, as enjoyable, as lovely without all the sugar. It’s not as necessary as I’d thought, not as horrible or lifeless without sugar as I’d anticipated.
I set out on this Year of Living Without to learn about my resistance, but the funny thing is that my resistance seems to be much greater when I’m imagining going without something I think I need, than it is when I actually go without it.
I thought giving up coffee would be incredibly hard, but it wasn’t hard at all (except for a few times when the allure of the smell was strong). I thought going without TV would be hard, but mostly I didn’t miss it. No sitting for more than 30 minutes actually was hard, but not because I missed sitting — only because I really got physically tired (often from running or working out).
So the resistance comes when we imagine the loss, not when we actually experience the loss. At least, that’s what I’ve been finding so far.
In this post, I’ll talk about a few of my thoughts and experiences going without sugar, and then share what I’m giving up in November (hint: it’s one of my hardest challenges yet).
Going Without Sugar
Some of what I learned and experienced in my month without sugar:
In the beginning of the month, I was traveling in Europe. Mostly didn’t miss the sugar, but I was definitely tempted when we found vegan gelato in Italy, then various vegan desserts in Vienna and London. Overall, it wasn’t hard — most of the desserts we passed weren’t vegan, so while they looked tasty, I’m not tempted to eat them (milk and eggs make me think of dead baby animals).
Most days of the month, I had no sweet temptations — if any sweets were around, they were non-vegan candies or desserts, so I didn’t care.
The challenge was easiest when I stay home or only go out to exercise or have tea with a friend. Staying away from restaurants or other people’s houses means no temptations.
Going to a vegan restaurant makes it a bit more challenging, as sometimes the kids have vegan desserts (a vegan chocolate shake was a bit tempting one day) but knowing that I’m not having sugar cuts off the temptation in my mind. So it’s not hard. If I didn’t have the challenge, I’d definitely share in their desserts.
In the middle of the month, I traveled to China — there are many interesting treats there, but mostly ones I can’t eat, so it wasn’t that hard. I think there was some mochi there that I would have loved, but I just didn’t give it much thought.
One day I bought the kids some chocolate chip cookies that would have been very tempting in the old days (just 6 months ago). But now I don’t have as much a taste of it — I think of the harm sugar does to my body, and how it doesn’t make me feel so good afterward, and sugar isn’t as appealing.
Near the end of the month was my son’s birthday. The coconut pancakes I made for breakfast weren’t tempting, nor was the cake and ice cream later. But Eva made some banana chocolate chip muffins that for some reason I craved. I just focused on my delicious Ezekiel cereal with nuts and berries and enjoyed it, so I was fine
One day I ate at both my favorite vegan restaurants in SF (that’s more than I usually eat out), and at lunch my friend ate one of my favorite vegan desserts. It was tempting but not too hard to resist, because I told him in advance that I couldn’t have a single bite. I think telling people about my no-sugar challenge helps me stick to it.
Trick or treating with the kids – I was tempted by Reeses peanut butter cups for some reason, but didn’t have any. Other candies did nothing for me.
When I keep myself busy, sweets aren’t even a thought.
When I’m tired, my willpower seems to drop, and temptations are harder. When I’m tired and hungry, I’m at my weakest.
November: No Computers/Internet Before Noon
So this month I’ve already had a small failure in my challenge. In November, I’m going without computers/Internet before noon (including smartphones, etc.) … except to write.
So I can use my laptop to write a post or work on my novel, but I can’t Google anything or check email or even read on my computer. No reading saved articles from the Internet either.
What will I do instead? I’ll read a novel (working my way through Joyce’s Ulysses right now) and write blog posts or work on my novel.
However, I missed the first day because I forgot. The challenge for the second day was when I really wanted to look things up, which I’m really used to doing immediately by now — instead, I wrote them down to look them up later.
This should be interesting.

Saying no
Say No to Get Control of Your Life
by Bill Lampton
Is it hard to say no to to others? Always being agreeable might be nice on the surface, but it can have serious consequences. Here are four tips to make it easier to say no.
In the Broadway musical Oklahoma, a character named Ado Annie sang, "I'm just a girl who can't say no, I'm in a terrible fix." How right she was. The word no is the most powerful word you can use, and not being able to say no can bring disaster.
Bosses who can't say no will create confusion. If you tell everyone they can take next Friday off, you'll have an empty office. The employee who can't say no loses out. You will take on more tasks than you can handle. Even worse, your supervisor may spot you as an individual who lacks self-respect and initiative, and will pass you over at promotion time.
In the family, if you say yes to a beach vacation--when you silently prefer the mountains--your disappointment can grow into resentment, spoiling the family outing.Saying yes all the time threatens friendships. "Want to play bridge?" a neighbor asks. If you agree, yet despise playing cards, you will become a poor guest.
Consumers must say no. It's fine to tell the appliance company that no, you can't wait at home four hours for a service call. Insist on knowing the specific time the repairman will arrive.
We could list many more examples. Bank officials can't say yes to everyone who applies for a loan. Coaches can't let everyone play, no matter how much the wannabe athletes plead. If you own a business, you cannot let all of your delinquent accounts enjoy an additional ninety days to pay.Maybe you wonder how you can say no without jeopardizing relationships.
Use these tips:Assure the person that you respect his or her request, and that your decline isn't personal. "Sounds like a very good project, Joe, yet my packed schedule won't allow me to participate."
Explain why your refusal benefits both of you. Declining membership on a committee, say: "I'm going to be traveling extensively. If I accepted, I couldn't attend meetings or do volunteer work. You'll benefit more by getting someone who will be available."
Invite the other person to help you make the decision. Let's say your boss gives you a big assignment. Respond with: "Here's a list of what you have me working on already. If I take this new assignment, I'll have to drop something. Please tell me which projects deserve top priority."
If you can't do everything someone wants, offer some service: "No, I can't be responsible for four Rotary Club programs in February, but I can be in charge of one if that will help."Whatever your strategy, don't suffer from Ado Annie's "terrible fix." Protect your schedule, your life balance, your integrity, and your relationships by declining when you need to. Isn't it amazing how much a two-letter word can improve our lives?

How to Prepare for a Job Interview
by Kirk Hallowell, Ph.D., author of The Million-Dollar Race: An Insider’s Guide to Winning Your Dream Job
You’ve probably heard this advice many times before: “Talk about the other person – focus on them.” It’s been a fundamental message of almost every sales, relationship, and self-help message from Dale Carnegie to Seth Godin.
So why do so many senior leaders blow it in this crucial aspect of the interview? You’re looking for a job and you get that big interview. Your natural tendency is to focus on what you see as the most important factor: YOU.
Most job candidates prepare for interviews by focusing on themselves, their past performance, their achievements, their success stories. By the time of the interview, these candidates are like a balloon blown up to capacity. The moment the interviewer opens the balloon with a question, he or she is hit in the face by a stream of uncontrolled, hot “you” air. If not handled correctly, that release of air is about as inviting as the blast from an actual balloon. You might not think this this scenario is typical, but I’ve seen this dynamic happened time and again, particularly with less experienced job candidates or with job candidates who are reentering the workforce after a long dry spell.Behind Every Job Opportunity is a StoryThe story begins, not with you, but with a unique need. This need is so powerful that the hiring company is willing to invest a significant amount of capital in the position. Even in the improving economy, the decision to hire is not made lightly.Outstanding job candidates begin their interview process by understanding the unique reason the company is looking for a leader in the first place. Exceptional job candidates will have answered at least three questions before they begin to hone their own story for a specific interview:What are the business reasons for the organization to invest in this position at this time? What are the specific and unique outcomes that the organization hopes to accomplish by funding this position (return on investment)?Where’s the organization headed in the future and how can an effective leader in this position promote that success?Job candidates who begin their job preparation by answering these questions have the potential to blow away competing candidates who do not.Digging into Company ResearchThe most successful job candidates approach a job opportunity in the same way a forensic scientist approaches a murder investigation: rigorously checking out all the clues and information available to put together a meaningful and accurate understanding of the motives and actions. Exceptional job candidates will spend hours on research about an organization and a specific opportunity before they begin practicing for the interview.Fortunately there are remarkable resources available that can provide you with fantastic information about your target position. Here is a list of key resources which you should leverage to the best of your ability. The Person Who Referred YouIf you were referred for a position by a colleague, network contact, or recruiting professional, that individual most likely has a number of insights about the organization and the opportunity. Many candidates jump on a referral without thoroughly interviewing the individual who referred them. What do they believe the organization is looking for in hiring this position at this time?Company WebsiteIf you are preparing for an interview, you should do more than a cursory browsing of the company website. Digging deep into the website helps you understand how the company represents itselfto the world and may provide some nuggets of understanding that will truly demonstrate your preparation for the interview. Just keep in mind that some company websites are not updated frequently, so some information may be out of date.Company NewsA simple Internet search on the company name, or division names, with a “news” filter will provide you with a great summary of local, regional, and national stories. Many times these will include company press releases which focus on key developments and changes within the organization. In some cases there is bad news. It’s good to be aware of this before you stumble into a prickly topic during your interview.Financial AnalysisAll publicly traded companies have significant amounts of financial coverage available on the Internet. Most of the major reporting organizations (e.g., Hoover’s, Dun & Bradstreet, etc.) offer limited amounts of information for free and in some cases colleges and university libraries provide full subscription services for in-depth analysis. You should absolutely be familiar with the financial performance of the organization in the last two yearsand understand any major challenges and opportunities that are impacting revenues and growth.Company ReviewsThe Internet now abounds with sources where current or previous employees discuss their experiences with an organization.LinkedIn.com and Glassdoor.com are two of the most established resources in this area. People reading these reviews should take into consideration that the individual writing the review may have been driven by experiences or poor boss interaction that have no bearing on your specific opportunity in the company. At the same time, a consistent theme is brought up over and over again, is a good indication that this reflects part of the organization’s culture. The Discipline of PreparationThe discipline of interview preparation is a lot like a physical exercise routine. Anyone who reads these recommendations will probably agree with most of the ideas that are shared in this article. The real question is, “Will you take the time and have the discipline to fully implement a research routine?” My experience with many job candidates is that they are so busy with their search, or perhaps the full-time job, that they cut corners in interview preparation. This invariably diminishes their competitive abilities. If you are headed for that big interview that can have a significant impact on your career and your income, commit to the discipline of preparation. Make the commitment to spend at least 2 to 3 solid hours doing your research before you start focusing on the second most important aspect of the interview: YOU. 7 Ways to Start a Business Without Going Broke
by Nina HamIs
finding the money to support yourself during the early stages of your business holding you back? There's no doubt that some sacrifices will be necessary, but if you're trying to support a family, your choices are limited.
Here are seven strategies you can employ to reduce the financial strain of your startup.
A 40's something woman was talking to me the other day about her growing sense of frustration over "working for someone else" and her longing to "do my own thing, drive my own wagon". But, she said with consternation, "I have family counting on me and a standard of living I don't want to sacrifice."Everyone has to decide for themselves what level of sacrifice and risk they're willing to undertake in order to enjoy the satisfactions of working independently.
Knowing some strategies for managing the risk will allow you to make a well-informed decision.Of the seven strategies included below, the first two suggest ways to gradually transition from salaried to solo, instead of diving off the edge. The second two are ways to stretch the dollar; and the final three are ideas for getting started without stopping.
1. Continue to draw a (reduced) salary.
Leaving your current employment in order to develop your new business may look like the only option, based on an assumption that you won't get approval for reducing your hours. While this may prove to be the case, asking yourself why and how your company will profit from retaining your skills and experience for a transitional period can provide the basis for approaching your employer. Be sure to do your homework first, however, and be able to back up your request with a solid rationale. Also consider the issue of timing. You want to weigh informing your employer of your wish to leave with being prepared to leave if the answer to your request is no.
2. Develop another income stream.
If you need to leave your present employment, is there a skill in your toolbag that you can resuscitate and put to work without a significant expenditure of time or energy? Is moonlighting or freelance work an option? Virtual e-lancing websites (such as eWork.com, Guru.com, and e-lance.com) may be worth looking into for short-term professional services opportunities.Examples: A community mental health worker transitioning to private practice used his conflict resolution experience to sell a training package to public schools. A woman transitioning out of an insurance brokerage created and sold seminars on long term care financing at local retirement centers.
3. Reduce expenses.
Apart from fixed expenses - mortgage, taxes, insurance, etc. - are discretionary expenses that make up the larger part of budgets. Doing a careful analysis of these expenses and choosing what you can forego for awhile can often save thousands per year.Carefully analyzing hidden expenses - credit card interest rates, bank charges, late fees, auto debits, phone plans - or "lost money" from low interest rates on savings may generate several thousand more per year.
4. Borrow.
It isn't necessary to wait to borrow for start-up costsuntil you have a well-documented idea to submit for a business loan. Refinancing a home or taking a line of credit are relatively low-cost ways of generating capital. Depending on your credit rating, you can also get time-limited low-interest loans from credit card companies. If you choose this option, applying for loans or refinancing packages while you're still employed is strongly advised. Your rating as a borrower declines quickly once the regular paychecks stop. You don't have to wait!Get started on your new business idea while you're still employed. Several of the all-important first steps (below) can be started while standing in the grocery line or running on the treadmill. They involve asking yourself some questions and doing some informal research to get crystal clear about your idea. This can take weeks off your actual start-up time.
5. Identify your niche.
Think about the services you're uniquely qualified to provide, as well as the ones you most enjoy providing. Be specific! Write them down! Then think about what group of people would get benefit from those services and have the ability to pay for them. Again, be specific: age, where they congregate, habits and values, how they define the problem your services are going to solve. If you don't know, ask. Find someone who fits your "ideal client" profile (s/he may be on the treadmill next to yours at the gym) and get permission to ask some questions. People generally love to be helpful.
6. Create your marketing plan.
Don't be intimidated by the term "marketing plan". While what you need from a marketing plan will get more sophisticated as your business develops, for now it simply means answering the question, How is my business going to make money? What is the product or service you're going to sell? How will you describe it so people quickly recognize the value? How will you package it? (fee for service? by the project? on retainer?) How will you price it? (What's being charged for comparable services? What "feels right" to you?)
7. Manage fear!
For most people, anything involving money involves some level of fear. It's important to acknowledge to yourself and to others that you are taking a risk, and you've decided it's a risk you want to take. So consider the fear natural, and find ways to manage it.Getting support from people who believe in you and in what you're embarking on is #1 in fear-management tactics. Don't assume that you'll get it from the people closest to you, or that if you don't have it you shouldn't proceed. They're probably the ones most impacted by your decision and so may be least ready to offer support. Their consent - a willingness to go along with your plan - is helpful, but support may have to come later. It's also helpful to set a goal (and a date for completion) that's key to your new venture - arrange financing by a particular date, or sign a lease - and announce it to at least one person. You'll find that making that commitment, saying it out loud, and following through will in turn generate more confidence and more forward momentum. To all of you who are tired of marching to someone else's drum and are eager to go solo, these strategies should help you take prudent but positive steps toward realizing your goal.Good luck!

Malaysia's Internet connection speed
Yahoo Newsroom – Mon, Apr 23, 2012
Internet search giant, Google, has just confirmed what most Malaysians have suspected for the longest time - our Internet speed really does suck.Malaysia was listed among the slowest countries in the world for loading Web pages on desktop computers as well as mobile computers, according to a study by Google.Malaysia, with an average Web page loading speed on desktops of 14.3 seconds, was named the world’s fifth slowest, even more plodding than the connection speeds of nations like Colombia, Argentina and Peru.
The only countries that performed worse, according to a Bloomberg report which cited Google's study, were Venezuela and India as well as Asean neighbours Philippines and Indonesia, which came out rock bottom. The country deemed to have the fastest loading speed was a surprise. Averaging a blazing fast 3.3 seconds, the Slovak Republic outraced developed nations like South Korea (3.5 secs), Netherlands (3.9 secs), Japan (4 secs) and Denmark (4.3 secs).
However, the Koreans still set the best time in loading Web pages using mobile devices with an average loading time of only 4.8 seconds. However, if phone browsing is your thing, stay out of the United Arab Emirates, where it takes a glacial 26.7 seconds to load an Internet page.In the category of the 10 slowest countries for mobile web page loading, Malaysia was the best of the worst, with a loading time of 12.7 seconds. Here’s the complete list of the top and bottom 10 countries both in desktop and mobile speeds for loading Web pages according to Google:
Top 10 in Desktop Speeds (in seconds)
Slovak Republic (3.3)
South Korea (3.5)
Czech Republic (3.7)
Netherlands (3.9)
Japan (4)
Denmark (4.3)
Switzerland (4.3)
Sweden (4.5)
Belgium (4.6)
Norway (4.8)
Bottom 10 in Desktop Speeds (in seconds)
Chile (10)
Colombia (10.2)
Peru (11.7)
Brazil (11.8)
Argentina (12.8)
Malaysia (14.3)
Venezuela (14.9)
India (15.1)
Philippines (15.4)
Indonesia (20.3)
Top 10 in Mobile Speeds (in seconds)
South Korea (4.8)
Denmark (5.2)
Hong Kong (5.9)
Norway (6)
Sweden (6.1)
Estonia (6.2)
Czech Republic (6.3)
Japan (6.4)
Romania (7.5)
Slovak Republic (7.6)
Bottom 10 in Mobile Speeds (in seconds)
Malaysia (12.7)
Indonesia (12.9)
Singapore (12.9)
Mexico (14.1)
Brazil (15.8)
Argentina (16.3)
India (16.4)
Thailand (17.4)
Saudi Arabia (21.2)
United Arab Emirates (26.7)
The report noted that the United States was somewhere in the middle. “On the desktop, it took an average of 5.7 seconds. On a mobile device it took 9.2 seconds to load, which for many folks here, feels like an eternity,” it said.
However, before you begin looking up immigration options, consider this. According to the Bloomberg report, Google measured Web page load speeds on desktop computers and mobile devices in 50 countries with the fastest Internet connections. So, it's probably fairer to say that Malaysia isn't slow, but merely among the less fast.
TIPS IBU BAPA GENIUS
1. Jangan pukul anak dari lutut ke atas.
Sabda Rasulullah SAW
“Berguraulah dengan anak kamu kala usianya satu hingga tujuh tahun. Berseronok dengan mereka, bergurau hingga naik atas belakang pun tak apa. Jika suka geletek, kejar atau usik anak asalkan hubungan rapat. Lepas tujuh hingga 14 tahun kita didik dan ajar, kalau salah pukullah dia (sebagai pengajaran)”
Mintalah kebenaran mereka sebelum berbuat demikian.
19. Janganlah membiarkan anak-anak anda tidur tanpa ciuman selamat malam,
20. Terimalah yang kadangkala anda bukanlah ibubapa yang sempurna. Ini akan mengurangkan stress menjadi ibu bapa.
Anak-anak anda mula sibuk mendengar tangisan anak mereka sendiri.
